New Donor Campaign & Celebration
Happy 2023 Y’all! In celebration of entering our 16th Season, MassOpera is launching the New Donor Campaign! Our goal is to grow our audience, reach, and network of supporters by 150 new donors! Thus we can continue to grow and share all of the fantastic work happening at MassOpera!
So far this season we launched the Artist Training Program partnership with Longy School of Music at Bard College. MassOpera is now officially known as opera-company-in-residence at Longy. We hosted our annual MassOpera Party and bi-annual Vocal Competition Finals at Longy’s Pickman Hall and Gardens this past October. We presented selections from Carvana de mujeres—the work we are developing as part of our New Opera Workshop program—at Opera America’s New Works Forum in NYC in January. And now we are thrilled to present to you a modern, reimagined English adaptation of Mozart’s The Magic Flute in May, but we need your help to keep this great work moving forward!
